BCM SIDE

BCM Account is the private side for magazine access, First Looks, purchases, contributor workflow, and messages from Site Admin. The same login can also be used for The Feed, but Feed identity and posting settings live inside The Feed.

Not Logged In

Sign in to view your BCM account. Feed-only members will see a simpler BCM account state unless they request contributor access or make purchases.

Account Roles

One login / separate access

Reader

Basic BCM account access for purchases, issue access, messages, and optional Feed access requests.

Contributor

First Looks, approved setup steps, contributor files, credits, and submission messages.

Admin

Private review and site management tools. Admin access stays hidden from public navigation.

BCM Status

Example states

Reader No active First Looks or contributor materials.

Feed Access Permitted or not permitted, independent of BCM contributor status.

First Look Pending, approved, held, declined, or revision requested when submissions exist.

Messages Private notices from Site Admin, purchase notes, or submission updates.

Contributor Path

Only when needed

A Reader can stay simple. Contributor tools only become important after starting a First Look or being approved for a project. Full Setup stays locked until Site Admin approves the next stage.

Feed note: The Feed has its own Settings page for display name, profile image, privacy, posting preferences, and future supporter options. BCM Account should not become the Feed dashboard.
